As a medium-sized family business, we are aware of our responsibility to society.

As a manufacturer, we offer our customers lighting that feels good. Our designers and engineers make sure of it. Our products combine form and function to best meet the needs of our customers. Easy to install, well-engineered technology and elegant looks guarantee enduring light enjoyment.

Only selected manufacturing companies produce our goods. We have been working together for years with many of them.

The manufacture of our light products goes through several steps

  • Development and design is carried out at our headquarters in Springe.
  • Production is mainly with selected manufacturers in China.
  • We are active on site with our own purchasing office and a quality assurance team of approximately 40 staff.
  • We check each batch produced at our factories. We also regularly inspect the production facilities.
  • Additional quality checks are conducted in Springe.
  • Our quality management system is regularly audited.

Member of the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative)

We support improved working conditions within our supplier chain and are members of the BSCI. All BSCI members - and we ourselves - undertake to comply with the BSCI code of conduct.

The BSCI code of conduct is based on the most important international agreements on the protection of workers' rights, in particular the ILO conventions (International Labour Organisation) and recommendations:

  • Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
  • Ban on discrimination
  • Ban on child labour
  • Remuneration: At least the minimum statutory wage
  • Working hours (in accordance with national laws and not exceeding 48 ordinary hours + 12 hours overtime per week)
  • Ban on bonded labour and disciplinary measures
  • Health and safety in the workplace
  • Environmental considerations
  • Guidelines for social responsibility
  • Management systems as well as anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies
